We Strive to do our best

History

Sioux Body Shop is a family-owned and operated business purchased by George Tsiobanos in 1991. He started Sioux Body Shop with just himself and a painter. From there, the business slowly grew with the help of many dedicated employees. In 1995, Manager Chris Margellos started at the shop. Then, in 2001, the second-generation came on board -- George's son Costa. Today, Sioux Body Shop boasts 12 employees and the company has not only increased manpower but has evolved its technology to match that of newer vehicles.

Technology

Sioux Body Shop is proud to invest in its employees and the latest equipment to stay up-to-date. Its technicians are required to complete annual I-CAR training to stay ahead of industry advancements. The shop utilizes a sophisticated computerized scanner that reads today’s complicated vehicle systems. The scanner allows Sioux Body Shop to make sure all computerized modules, like collision avoidance and parking aids, are working correctly once a body part, like a bumper, is replaced. The shop uses specialty aluminum tools and a welder for those new aluminum body parts. Sioux Body Shop was also the first independent shop in Sioux City to use environmentally-friendly water-based paints.

Innovation

One of the most advanced pieces of equipment Sioux Body Shop has invested in is its laser measuring system. The shop has used a laser measuring system for the last 20 years but recently upgraded to a computerized version. This tool allows Sioux Body Shop to repair a vehicle’s uni-body or frame within factory specifications. Precision and accuracy are the cornerstones of the best collision repair. Sioux Body Shop is committed to providing its customers with top quality service

Honesty and top-notch service, this is what you’ll get at Sioux Body Shop! They do fantastic work.
